The “over-the-top” move is the #1 swing fault in golf. This is were the club moves way inside on the take away, lifted to the top of the back swing and starts out on the down swing. It guarantees a slice or pulled shot every time. If your swing is plagued with this problem your worries are over. Man, how far do you think Nicklaus would have been hitting it with this swing (circa 1963) and today’s technology? I’m guessing he would be Bubba Watson long, but infinitely more controlled. The most interesting thing here is Nicklaus’s backswing. Definitely not what is taught to young prodigies today: too much leg and hip movement (how about that left heel lift?), shaft inside, club across the line at the top. But what the hell, it worked better than anything anyone else was doing, and became the model for a generation of wannabe players. I still can’t get over the size of those thighs.

    Best Golf Swing

    Posted by Golfer on Oct-11-2010

www.BestTrustedGuide.com Try to get your new Golf swing Did your last set of golf balls head for pool? It’s time to fix it. Grip the club with your left hand so that your thumb lies along the shaft. The line between your thumb and index finger should point toward your right eye. Wrap your right hand over your left so that your left thumb fits into the cup of the right palm. Fine-tune your stance by pointing your knees in slightly. Point your right foot straight ahead. Point your left foot slightly to the left. Bring your elbows and arms as close together as possible. When you’re in your stance, your right elbow should point directly at your right hip, and your left elbow directly at your left hip. Imagine a flat plane extending from your shoulders to the ball. Throughout your backswing, your hands should move parallel to this plane. Begin your backswing with your hands, followed immediately by your arms and shoulders. Begin your downswing by rotating your hips back toward the ball. Any swing that does not begin with the hips will lack power. Your left wrist bone should be pointing at the ball when the club makes contact. To learn more about burn fat, please visit : www.BestTrustedGuide.com
