www.wholebrainplanet.com In this video clip the Hammer Man of Golf demonstrates that his athletic nature can be used in the golf swing. In the history of the game of golf there has never been a player who release the top hand off the club to finish with the bottom hand is the fashion that he displays in this swing sequence. There is alot of though that goes into this methodology. Because of the distance that he stands off the ball (Moe Norman) and the fact that he has a club that has a swing weight of G1 (some of his drivers are G5-G8) he is able to utilize forces of nature to hit the ball. His down swing is very elipitical and when he upstrikes the golf ball that is teed up at 4 inches he is able to get high launch angles with low backspin rates. Even with his backswing at only 12 oclock he is still able to drive balls on the golf course accurately in excess of 300 yards with very little effort. The ball flight is usually a nice draw. This is because the extra weight on the head causing the shaft to lag a bit more than normal. The shaft that he uses is a XX flex although the lead tape that is on the head of the club make it play like a stiff flex. Look at the other video on his channel to learn some of his secrets of developing to the ability to pure consistently long and accuarate drives. The Hammer Man has lots of training secrets that are in his best selling book. The manuscript is entitled Whole Brain Power. It is an excellent read.
that was terrible.
@ootietang Thanks for your comment. That’s your opinion. I am sure that my ball would be further down the fairway than yours. That’s my thougt on the matter. Hammer
@wholebrainplanet that’s an awful heavy long club, is the weight to help your club release at the right point (i’m not talking about your hand). Also your swing looks somewhat like mine (only more extreme) do you ever have issues with directional control on some of the longer shots? The way I look at it even if your aim is off a fraction of a degree after 300 yards that’s a long way off.
@RLWSNOOK410 My drives and tee shots are some of the strongest parts of my game. I expain why the club length and weight are used in the description of this video post. Check out my book Whole Brain Power. It will help you become a better ball striker. Hammer
how far did that go?? because i am sure it wasnt very far but prolly further for u swinging like that rather than u swinging normal… any good golfer with a swing will hit it further normaly…
@BIueMax I hit that ball pretty well. All of the mass behind my driver strike make the ball fly pretty far with my short back swing. Thanks for your comments. Hammer
@wholebrainplanet what about yardage… how many yards did you hit it?
@BIueMax That was an easy swing and it went 290. Hammer
hows your short game with that swing?
you look like Doug Sanders (wide stance, short backswing) if you can average 260 yards off the tee, is it legal to use a 48 inch driver at senior tour Q-school?
@slappy0077 Thanks for your comment. 48 inches is legal on any tour. _Hammer
