Learning from Ben Hogan, one of the best golf players in the history of golf. You will improve your game, This video is a modest tribute to Mr. Hogan and to my father, He filmed Mr. Hogan in Mexico 1953. I hope it will inspire your golf swing. Please rate the video.
The clarity is the best i’ve seen… priceless
Thank-You!!
Thanks to Pepe Cano we have this to look at. Super Great Film of The Best Player of his time. 20 years 1940 to 1960 ” U S Open ” Hogan never finished out of the top 10 ! Thank You. I think he won this tournament ” Pan American ” 1953 Mexico City. I know he won the Masters, U S Open and British Open the year this film was taken. Carl Welty
Thank you for sharing this wonderful video. DT
Excellent video thanks for posting.
Thank you a lot for this video. The resolution is fantastic and that allowed me to confirm many of my studies.
I noticed that Hogan sometimes had an open club face at the top. Watch the angles at about 1:40 or at 1:56. If you stop you’ll see the toe pointing down, but the left arm is pretty flat! Inpossible, only Hogan could maintain such a position and hit so easily!!
Gorgeous footage compadre. You’re father did a great service for us Hogan fanatics.
absolutely great footage!
great man! both your father and Mr. Hogan. and you too who post it here! thank you
Thanks for posting a great video.
Great job
I will never EVER get tired of seeing this film (and the longer version you first posted to YT). Just outstanding–uno de los mas mejor que ha visto en toda mi vida. Muchisimas gracias, amigo!
Awesome video, one of the best of Hogan’s.
And I also like the music. Does anybody know the name of the song?
@paseodelnardo25
what’s the music????
@KnockOut22 Lenny Tristano, I’ll see you in My Dreams
I don’t think its “I’ll see you in my dreams.” At least not the versions I’ve heard. Anyone else have an idea who this song is by??
Great choice of music.
Oh give me a break you idiots.
Hogans clubs were so doctored and compensated that it took Tiger 5 swings before he could correct on the way down to hit a straight shot. Other pros in the past that were allowed to swing the clubs couldn’t do anything with them. And your basing all your assumptions on these videos where you haven’t a clue whether he was trying to hit a fade/draw/stinger/high/low or any multiple combo of any of those.
Dumb asses.
God bless you for sharing this. Great footage. I brought my golf teacher, who knew and played with Hogan, to the PC to watch this, and the beauty of it brought tears to his eyes. He said this was shot during the time when Hogan’s swing was at its prime, and that he was not altering his swing for the camera to mislead as he often did.
My goal is to play golf like Ben Hogan; so far, after five years, I’ve got the hat and I’ve got the cigarette.

@TatarInExile lmao!
@aedoue out of curiosity, what types of things did Hogan do to mislead?
THE greatest footage of Mr.Hogan ever. Thank you so much.
