how long ago was this was it this year

  2. ssgolf37 Said,

it was last summer at a clinic in New Jersey. Woodcrest CC was the name of the golf course

  3. ddahlquist Said,

@flowerdrop1 Ask a tour player if he is S&T

  4. BinaryGod2N1 Said,

Better yet look at his pictures.

  5. 13skinsfan69 Said,

such an easy simple tip that is sooooooo important.

  6. HabloIrlandes Said,

I’ve a lot of time for this guy, he didn’t have it easy when he was younger and did struggle to get on tour when he first turned pro, but showed some guts to find a way to get out there.

(Plus he left Leadbetter, that was a good move).

  7. chally3970 Said,

Are there any more videos from this clinic? Thanks

  8. ddahlquist Said,

axis of rotation is part one. The hip turn is MORAD 101.- but there is no loading it does not happen in his swing. He just says it does. Part three is he FEELS as if he just turns. However he gets axis tilt from hips hips moving forward and turning. This kid could be better if he knew the stuff inside and out. Even had some breaking in there would clean it up.

  9. JimHalpert3 Said,

@ddahlquist the cry of every stack and tilt guy: hey we got guys on tour that do it, therefore everyone should.

  10. ddahlquist Said,

@JimHalpert3 Not really following you? Andy fixed his swing after Sean F, asked his thoughts on his swing during the first part of 09.Its a known fact. Look at what Tiger is doing now. Guess he has been taking good advice on his swing…

  11. strataone Said,

hahahahahah I thought he was describing the stack n tilt method until he said he wasn’t a fan of it. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck…

  12. SortOfPanic Said,

@strataone He definitely has the “stack” part of it in his swing. By that I mean he really doesn’t “load” like he says he does. Meaning his weight stays over his sternum during the entire swing. It’s also a deceiving camera angle too, cause his sternum does stay over the ball like he wants it, unlike Stack and Tilt where the sternum goes in front of the ball. For a good example on Stack and Tilt watch Anna Rawson’s swing. My lower back aches for her just watching it. XD

  13. trapsmv9 Said,

@ddahlquist Dana, is he not ’stacking’ differently on the backswing, though? He doesn’t seem to have the side tilt of the particular pattern, and he’s obviously more CP to hit those fades on the downswing. (Not saying you can’t fade in the pattern)

  14. steckleinjr Said,

funny, strataone. i do hear quacking. something doesn’t add up. is he saying no lateral movement on downswing, too? he’s not a one planer. but he certainly seems to posess some S&T principles!

  15. jhogolferboy Said,

Even if he does reference some principles of S&T it’s not as if that is anything new. Most of those principles can be found by watching a video of someone like Hogan or Snead. Having one’s body work together rather than in pieces is a great idea. By rotating and staying connected you are engaging the largest muscles in the body rather than relying on small ones that need to be timed perfectly at impact. It’s a very simple motion that makes for extremely consistent contact.
